Respite Program for Caregiver's Journey 2025 (1).jpg
Respite Zoom!: About

At this year’s conference, respite care is being offered. This allows a caregiver to attend the conference while their loved one who is living with dementia gets care and participates in therapeutic activities by trained and skilled staff. This calm, safe, and engaging space will encourage interaction, stimulation, and a sense of purpose.

A caregiver can rest easy knowing that their loved one is not only safe but also engaged in activities that uplift their spirits and promote their well-being.

Participants will have a light breakfast, lunch and end the day with the popular ice cream social. Personnel from Saint Elizabeth Communities will be on hand all day to provide on site respite care. More to follow on the schedule of activities.

If you are interested in having your loved one attend respite care during the conference, please call Saint Elizabeth Adult Day Center directly at 401-738-8295 and ask for Linda Sinnott or Ashley Butler.  You will be asked to provide some basic information including contact information, your loved one’s medical history, any assistance they may require, as well as their interests, so that we can safely meet their needs throughout the day. There is a limited number of individuals who can use this service, so please register early. A maximum of 30 people can participate.
